New Year! New Hobby! Let’s write! Join us at Dietz Floral Studio for a hand-on, beginner-level class led by GOLD LEAF CALLIGRAPHY owner and calligraphy artist Jade Yurick, for an evening of learning the art of calligraphy, just in time to start a new hobby for the new year!

Students will learn the basics of pointed pen calligraphy. No experience necessary.

This two-hour indiviual instruction covers:

- terminology, vocabulary and supplies

- how to prep, hold and use the pen & nibs

- basic practice strokes

- how to form letters

- and how to keep practicing on your own

Each class participant will receive a calligraphy starter kit (with straight pen holder, nibs, ink and ink jar, paper, practice guides & alphabets, as well as a few Gold Leaf Calligraphy goodies) to use in class and then take home.

BYOB refreshments. One glass of white or blush wine with some bits to eat provided. All supplies and materials are included.
